Ahead of Parcel+Post Expo 2026, which will take place at Excel London on September 23-24, Parcel and Postal Technology International has picked out seven sessions from this year’s conference program that are well worth prioritizing.

Parcel+Post Expo returns to London after a 17-year hiatus and will showcases the latest developments, industry-leading insights and expert-led conference content. Across the exhibition, Leadership Conference and Innovation Labs, visitors will be able to discover the latest delivery technology, hear from senior leaders and explore new ideas shaping the sector.

Whether you’re a postal operator, parcel carrier or part of the wider e-commerce ecosystem, Parcel+Post Expo brings the global industry together in one place. For this year, the event is also taking place alongside eCommerce Expo, the UK’s largest e-commerce event.

On the Leadership stage:

The Next Decade: Trends Every Leader Must Watch

When: 10:00am-11:00am, Wednesday, September 23

Who: Nicky Jones, CEO, Vidu Video Recruitment; Charles Brewer, group CEO, Pos Malaysia; Dariusz Lipiński, group COO, VP operations, InPost; Martti Kuldma, CEO,  Omniva; and Rui Ke, vice president of Jingdong Logistics and general manager of Jingdong Logistics Europe Region – JD.com

In a decade shaped by rapid technological disruption, evolving customer expectations and fundamental shifts in global supply chains, this session brings together senior industry leaders to explore the trends that will redefine logistics. From AI-driven operations and automation to the rise of new business models and new competitive dynamics, the discussion will focus on where future value will be created and what capabilities industry players must build today to stay ahead in an increasingly complex and competitive environment.

Beyond 2036: Turning Uncertainty into Strategic Advantage

When: 11:30am-1pm, Wednesday, September 23

Who: Bernhard Bukovc, CEO, connect2posts; Mattia Crespi, director – Futures Lab at H-Farm and research affiliate at the Institute for the Future; Christian Oestergaard, lead visionary – senior group strategist of IT-production/IoT/AI, PostNord; Soham Chokshi, CEO, Shipsy; and Sumit Saxena, senior vice president EMEA, FarEye

The future doesn’t just happen – you shape it. Every decision leaders make today – from R&D bets to digital strategies and sustainability commitments – sends ripples into the next decade. And the world of 2036 will look nothing like today: AI is transforming how we work and decide. Climate adaptation is spawning new markets and new risks. Demographics, resources and geopolitics are rewriting the rules of growth. In this landscape, traditional planning won’t cut it. Leaders need strategic foresight — the ability to explore multiple futures and pressure‑test decisions before reality forces the issue.

eCommerce Trends Transforming the Customer Journey

When: 11:30am-12:30pm, Thursday, September 24

Who: Marek Różycki, managing partner, Last Mile Experts; Sven Kukemelk, CCO, Omniva; Dennis Li, general manager – cross boarder Europe, Cainiao/Alibaba Group; Adam Tomczak, group head of international delivery and solutions development, Allegro; and Viacheslav Klymov, co-founder, Nova Post

This session will focus on the evolving expectations of today’s recipients, exploring how convenience, personalization and flexibility redefine the parcel delivery experience. Panelists will unpack what these buzzwords truly mean in practice and reveal actionable strategies for carriers and retailers to exceed customer demands and build lasting loyalty.

On the Disrupt & Deliver Stage:

Interactive Workshop – From Data to Decisions: Activating AI Inside Postal Operations Effectively

When: 10:00am-12:00pm, Thursday, September 24

Who: Moses Ma, managing partner, FutureLab

Many postal organizations have data and pilot projects but struggle to translate AI into real operational impact. This hands-on workshop will focus on how to bridge that gap. Participants will identify high-value use cases, map existing data and systems, and learn a practical framework for turning insights into action. We will walk through how to connect data pipelines, deploy targeted AI models and embed decision-making into day-to-day operations without large-scale disruption.

Interactive Workshop – Beyond 2036: The Top Strategic Moves Leaders Must Make Now

When: 2:00pm-4:00pm, Thursday, September 24

Who: Mattia Crespi, director of Futures Lab at H-Farm and research affiliate at the Institute for the Future

This masterclass will be a focused deep dive into the five strategic actions marked as ‘now’ in the original Beyond 2036 framework: strengthening AI literacy and governance, investing in resilient data and energy infrastructure, auditing boardroom tech literacy, building a climate-positive product lifecycle, and developing foresight and scenario planning as a core capability. The session will translate long-term futures thinking into immediate leadership priorities and concrete strategic choices.

At the Smart Logistics Hub:

Leading with Impact: Women Transforming the Logistics Industry

When: 11:30am-12:30pm, Thursday, September 24

Who: Hazel King, editor, Parcel and Postal Technology International; Natalia Navin, chief people officer, Pos Malaysia; Tawnee Steinke, VP products and partnerships, BoxC; Natalia Tomiyama, founder and CEO, Nüwiel; and Carolin Pieper, manager global sales, EPG

The logistics industry is being transformed – not only by technology and globalization, but also by the growing presence of women in key roles. This session celebrates the achievements of women in logistics, addresses the roadblocks they face, and highlights how their contributions are shaping a more innovative, inclusive and sustainable future. The discussion will explore not only how to recruit more women into logistics and supply chain roles, but also how organizations can support, mentor and retain female talent by fostering inclusive workplaces and providing opportunities for professional growth.

Leading the Next Era: Women Driving the Business Transformation of Logistics

When: 2:00pm-3:00pm, Thursday, September 24

Who: Amanda Martinez, network partner director, HubBox; Lara Amini, co-founder and managing director, LOXO; Nadja Kurbanova, senior industry solutions manager, Here Technologies; and Julia Pavlenko, director of international operations department, Ukraine Post

The future of logistics will be defined by technology, talent and trust. Hear from women leaders who are helping organizations navigate AI-enabled operations, automation, sustainability pressures, evolving customer demands and new business models. Panelists will share real-world examples of transformation, the toughest decisions facing logistics leaders and the strategic priorities that will separate tomorrow’s winners from the rest.
