Austria’s digital marketplace, Willhaben, has introduced a new delivery option in partnership with Austrian Post, allowing parcels to be sent directly to post office locations.
The service enables buyers to select delivery to one of more than 1,600 post offices, many of which are accessible 24/7. The option is integrated into the existing PayLivery system, which combines payment processing with shipping-label generation.
According to the companies, the new option builds on their existing collaboration and is designed to provide greater flexibility in how parcels are received.
The delivery option also offers a level of privacy for users. Shipping labels generated through the service display only the recipient’s name, with the address of the selected post office used in place of a home address.
Willhaben said this allows customers to avoid sharing personal address details while still completing transactions through the platform.
To mark the launch, Willhaben is offering a limited-time promotion through PayLivery. For the next few weeks, the company will cover shipping costs for fashion, baby and children’s items sent in XS and S parcel sizes.
The companies said the initiative is intended to encourage uptake of the new delivery method while highlighting the integration of logistics and payment services within the marketplace.
The move reflects ongoing efforts to streamline parcel delivery options and provide alternatives to home delivery, particularly in urban areas where flexibility and privacy are increasingly important for users.
