Stord has completed its acquisition of Shipwire, a subsidiary of CEVA Logistics, with the deal closing on January 1, 2026. The acquisition expands Stord’s fulfillment footprint and strengthens its technology capabilities, particularly across AI-enabled order and warehouse management.
The deal adds 12 fulfillment locations to Stord’s network and increases its presence in the EU and UK. Stord will also retain access to CEVA Logistics’ wider global warehouse network through Shipwire’s existing logistics agreements. CEVA manages more than 120,000,000ft2 of contract logistics space worldwide.
As part of the transaction, Stord has acquired Shipwire’s technology division, integrating its order management and B2B integration capabilities into Stord’s existing platform. Shipwire’s AI-enabled technology, already connected to more than 200 e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and ERP systems, will be incorporated into Stord’s ecosystem as the company accelerates its AI strategy.
Stord said the acquisition builds on its previously announced investments in artificial intelligence, including more than 50 technology hires across 2025 and early 2026.
Founded in 2006, Shipwire built its business by providing professional-grade global fulfillment and shipping services to small and fast-growing e-commerce brands. Over time, it expanded into full-service fulfillment, with a strong focus on larger and bulkier products, serving brands across apparel, consumer electronics, food and beverage, health and beauty, and consumer goods.
Shipwire was acquired by Ingram Micro in 2011 and later became part of CEVA Logistics following CEVA’s acquisition of Ingram Micro’s Commerce and Lifecycle Services division in 2022.
Marcelo Wesseler, CEO of Shipwire, said the acquisition aligns closely with the company’s long-term technology ambitions: “Joining forces with Stord is a decisive move that accelerates our logistics technology and intelligent supply chain vision. Our customers, technology and proprietary AI applications fit perfectly with Stord’s existing customer base and software offerings.”
Stord customers will benefit from enhanced access to CEVA’s global logistics infrastructure, while Shipwire customers will gain faster development timelines across Stord’s order management, warehouse management and estimated delivery date platforms, alongside improved parcel pricing and consumer experience tools.
Sean Henry, CEO and co-founder of Stord, said the deal strengthens the company’s position in a rapidly evolving fulfillment market: “By acquiring Shipwire, Stord is even better positioned to help brands of all sizes deliver unparalleled consumer experiences on every order, anywhere in the world.”
The Shipwire acquisition follows Stord’s earlier integrations of Fulfillment Works, ProPack, Pitney Bowes E-Commerce Fulfillment and Ware2Go, further expanding its fulfillment volume and technology reach. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
