The Postal Innovation Platform (PIP) and connect2posts (c2p), in partnership with Swiss Post, Austrian Post and Parcel+Post Expo, are inviting startups with solutions that can propel the technology drive of the parcel, postal and supply chain sector to submit their entries for the Startup Innovation Award 2024.

On October 22, Parcel+Post Expo will celebrate the game-changing technologies and solutions presented by the finalists in the annual award competition.

The event will bring together innovation and strategy leaders from parcel, postal and logistics companies who will choose winners in three categories:

• First and last mile
• Processes, digital and data
• E-commerce, retail and cross-border

From the three winners, the judges will select one startup that has created the most outstanding solution or technology, and this will be the overall winner of the PIP Startup Innovation Award 2024.

The Top Employers Institute has awarded Deutsche Post DHL Group with a Top Employer certification.

The Amsterdam-based Top Employers Institute has been assessing how well companies perform as employers for 30 years. Its certification process evaluates companies across 20 categories. The Top Employers Institute has been responsible for the external certification of Deutsche Post DHL Group since 2011. A total of 125 organizations in 70 countries achieved Top Employer certification. As in 2022, DHL Express and DHL Global Forwarding, Freight achieved Top Employer Global status but this year is the first time that the Deutsche Post DHL Group as a whole has been awarded Top Employer status in Europe.

Service Provider of the Year: Ukrposhta

This year’s top prize of Service Provider of the Year was collected by an emotional Julia Pavlenko, director of international, operations department at Ukrposhta, who delivered an impassioned speech praising her colleagues on the dedication shown working under the most extreme circumstances.
