This year’s Service Provider of the Year award went to Omniva for its bold leadership in a transforming postal landscape. With a strategic focus on international logistics, PUDO services and digital transformation, Omniva achieved 64% growth in international business, which now accounts for 26% of its total revenue.

Lebanon’s national postal operator, LibanPost, came out on top in the most prestigious category during the ceremony – Service Provider of the Year. At a time where posts around the world were struggling to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic, LibanPost faced the additional challenges of the country’s economic collapse and the devastating effects of the Beirut port blast – one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history.

Fizyr was one of 16 finalists that presented to panels of industry judges at a day-long innovation summit at POST-EXPO this week as part of the PostalPitch competition.

PostalPitch, sponsored by Postal Innovation Platform (PIP) and PostalVision 2020, featured products and services designed to address some of the biggest challenges facing the post and parcel industry, such as last-mile and first-mile logistics; direct marketing and advertising mail; and operational efficiency, including automation, autonomous solutions and AI.

Their diversity and inventiveness proved a tough task to shortlist. It was an even tougher task for our panel of judges to select winners.
