DHL Express UK has launched Verified Delivery, a new service designed to enhance the final-mile security of high-value shipments.

This optional feature requires verification at the point of delivery, where the recipient is asked to present a unique QR code transmitted to them in advance along with standard tracking information.

DHL said the process is designed to be both secure and user-friendly, with no additional technical requirements for the recipient beyond access to the QR code on a mobile device or in printed form.
