The pilot project will run for two weeks, during which Bolt will deliver parcels from Nurmenuku and Majaka parcel dispatch points in Tallinn, Estonia.    </p>
<p>Omniva head of parcel business Andre Veskimeister, says, “We are testing a solution with Bolt where a client can use Bolt to order home delivery of their parcel that has arrived at the parcel dispatch point.  </p>

<p>UPS and CVS announced last year plans to jointly explore the use of drone delivery. The companies successfully completed their first drone deliveries of medical prescriptions from a CVS pharmacy in Cary, N.C. in November last year. </p>
<p>“Now more than ever, it’s important that our customers have access to their prescriptions,” said Jon Roberts, executive vice president and chief operating officer of CVS Health. </p>

<p>The group, who represent over 300 companies and organizations, want a more standardized government approach to drone technology to enable safe and secure rapid commercialization of the UK drone industry. </p>
<p>The main focus of the 14-page paper is the creation of sandboxes &#8211; temporary (virtual) or permanent (designed to transition to commercial operations) area in which drone manufacturers, operators, UTM and command and control communication service providers (C2 CSP) can test and evolve technology in an environment which does not require lengthy regulatory clearance and allows data to be shared and used to inform regulators and standards makers. </p>

The new Warehouse Execution System (WES) was developed by Softeon and will enable faster order intake and define specific customer requirements resulting in more than 50% productivity gains for some customers. </p>
<p>“WES enables UPS to better leverage our global warehouse network and integrated technology to help our customers reduce capital, improve service and speed to end customers,” said Philippe Gilbert, president of Supply Chain Solutions.</p>

<p>The survey asked consumers in the UK, USA, France, Germany, Ireland and Australia about the impact of COVID 19 on international online purchases. It found 24% will decrease buying online from international retailers in next 12 months, 61% will remain the same and 15% likely to increase. </p>

<p>The first train, the ‘China Post’ CR Express, was unloaded in Vilnius, Lithuania, carrying mail and two containers of medical supplies. Transport takes between 12-14 days. </p>
<p>Each train carries around 300 tons of mail and are the result of cooperation between China Post, Lithuania Post, Polish Post and railway operators.</p>

<p>In terms of numbers, during just one day last week the service delivered more than 1.8 million parcels reaching levels seen on only the biggest delivery days during the festive season. </p>
<p>Due to the pressure on the system Canada Post is advising customers across the country to expect delays with their parcel deliveries.</p>

<p>The company hopes that senior citizens in regions all over the country will benefit from this program allowing them to safely mail and ship letters and packages without leaving their own homes.  </p>
<p>Using the Stamps.com online postage software, customers can print postage for any USPS letter or package, domestic or international, using a laptop or home computer and any ordinary printer.   </p>

<p>Existing investor SAIF Partners also participated in the round. </p>
<p>Kushal Nahata, CEO, FarEye, says, “We will use this investment to create greater value and improve the experience for our customers by enhancing the platform’s predictive capabilities, increasing platform partnerships, expanding into new markets and growing our teams in Europe, APAC &amp; US.”  </p>
<p>FarEye’s predictive logistics platform enables enterprises to orchestrate, track, and optimize their logistic operations. </p>
